Week 5 will revolve around our traditional Battle of Teams competition, held for the 4th year running: the team that gets the most points throughout the week will have their team names engraved on the Funside Trophy! Highlights will include Game of Life, Bubble Football and the Inflatable Water Park.
As the closing week of this year’s Funside Balaton summer camp season, Week 5 will feature plenty of brand new activities, including the Emoji Game, the Adventure Water Park and the Survivor Day.
One of the biggest events will certainly be the Inflatable Water Park. The whole camp will visit the beach at Vonyarcvashegy to try a brand new giant floating adventure park on Lake Balaton. This includes lots of entertaining and challenging activities through a water-based obstacle course, like the climbing wall, the catapult and the water ditch.
It would not be an overstatement to say that the fifth week will be like a “Best of” week: loads of popular and beloved activities will be back from previous camp weeks. The whole camp area will transform into a life-sized board game during the Game of Life activity on Monday, while Bubble football makes a return to Funside Balaton after being on a hiatus since 2016.
Among our evening activities this week will feature the Open-air cinema with animation and retro movie screenings, as well as the Game night with a wide variety of stations and playful elements. Be prepared to say farewell to the 2019 Funside summer camp season with a big Beach Party on Friday.
We will close the 2019 summer camp season with the last Teens Disco of the year and will announce the winning team of the 4th Funside Balaton Battle of the Teams. As a Funside tradition, the name of the winning team will be engraved on the cup and the team will own it for one whole year. You can have a look at it at the end of August, when the Funside End-of-Summer Party takes place at our Budapest venue.
