Funside takes on the Dark Side: Week 2 highlights include Star Wars Day, Galactic Lasertag Battle and the Invisible Planet!
Following up from Week 1, Sunday night will still be about the Euro 2016 Championships and a live showing of the Finals, with face paint, predictions and other surprises to put everyone into cheering mode! After the first classes of the week, Monday afternoon is all about the Funside Funfair: one of our most popular games, where the human foosball, the sumo battle and the sweeper game are just some of the fun activities available for our campers to try. The Funfair will be followed by our camp opening ceremony and team-building games on Monday night. The following afternoon is all about the beach, spending some time at Lake Balaton after the classes, followed by the teen disco on Tuesday evening.
After everyone is warmed up for the big Theme of the Week, the Star Wars madness is kicked off on Wednesday by the Galactic Lasertag Battle: join the Rebellion to defend your planet from the evil sith lords! In the evening, our popular invisible activity will get a new Star Wars-themed twist, when campers have to solve puzzles on board the Invisible Planet, relying on all their senses, except for their eyes. The fun continues on Thursday afternoon with the Star Wars day, when we will experience life in a galaxy far far away, through several different games spanning the whole afternoon.
After all the excitement, it’s time to finally kick back and relax on Thursday evening, as we put on our 3D glasses, grab our popcorn and watch Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens on a 5 meter-wide screen with Dolby Surround sound and amazing cinema-quality 3D projection right within our camp, made possible by the Mozgo Mozi mobile-cinema team (the same guys who brought us the Minions Movie premiere screening last year). On Friday afternoon we turn the lake into a real Beach Party with music, lemonades and limbo dance, before our Friday-evening recitals and Saturday-morning camp closing ceremony round off what is promising to be a truly unforgettable week!
