How to get to the camp
By car, individually:

Arrival: Please arrive between 11 am and 2 pm on the first day of your stay.
Departure: Kids leave the camp between 10 am and 1 pm on the last day of their stay.
You may arrive or depart outside these time periods but in this case please notify us about your plans well in advance.
Directions:
From Budapest: please head towards Lake Balaton on the M7 motorway. Take exit 170 from the motorway towards the direction of Marcali/Zalaegerszeg/Keszthely and then choose Zalaegerszeg/Keszthely (Route 76) on the right. At the first opportunity, merge onto Route 71 towards Keszthely, then at the next intersection follow Route 71, this time towards Balatonfüred (not Keszthely). Go through 6 roundabouts, always towards Balatonfüred, then after passing the 95 km sign, take the first right turn (you will see the Funside Balaton sign by the road). Keep driving for another 50 metres, then you will see members of our staff, ready to assist you with parking.
From Keszthely: exit the town towards Gyenesdiás/Balatonfüred, and start driving on Route 71 towards Balatonfüred. After passing the 95 km sign, take the first right turn (you will see the Funside Balaton sign by the road). Keep driving for another 50 metres, then you will see members of our staff, ready to assist you with parking.
From Balatonfüred: exit the town and start driving on Route 71 towards Keszthely. After passing the 94 km sign and the Imperial Golf Club, take the first left turn (you will see the Funside Balaton sign by the road). Keep driving for another 50 metres, then you will see members of our staff, ready to assist you with parking.
By air, individually:
If you are travelling to the camp by plane, please let us know about your flight details as soon as possible, so that we can help by arranging airport transfers to the camp.
Budapest Airport: you may also travel via the Budapest Airport (largest international airport in the area; available flights). We can send transfers to the airport from the camp but the minimum number of passengers is 3 per trip (we can group you with other children coming to the camp, if you arrive at about the same time). Please mark this option on your sign up form if you are interested and we will send you the latest information and details. Extra accommodation: in case your flight gets here a day earlier or leaves a day later, then an extra night of accommodation at the camp is possible. (Must book ahead, availability is limited.)

Budapest Airport - camp single trip 63 Euros per person (available from 3 passengers).
Budapest Airport - camp round trip 126 Euros per person (available from 3 passengers).
Extra day due to travel dates (on weekends between sessions, 1 day before or 1 day after the session, depending on availability) with all meals included 66 Euros per person (must book ahead, availability is limited).
By bus from Budapest, with Funside group: Funside Private Bus Service!
Budapest bus transfer: campers have the option to travel in a group, supervised by our teachers, from Budapest to the camp venue and back, by bus. Advance sign-up is necessary: if you would like to join a group, please kindly mark this option on your sign-up form. The group, supervised by our teachers, this year will have a private bus service on the Budapest (Kelenföld) – Balatongyörök (tha camp) route. We will notify all signed up campers 2 to 3 weeks before their chosen week, about the specific details and itinerary.
Transfer cost for the bus group is 66 Euros per person, round-trip. (33 Euros/person/one way) Availability is limited, must be booked ahead, places are distributed on a first come, first served basis.
By train, individually, within Hungary:
If you are travelling by train individually, we can arrange to pick you up at the 'Becehegy' station between 11 am and 2 pm on the first day of your stay. Please notify us of your arrangements at least two weeks in advance.
