Glossy Hollywood and the battle of our rising stars – this is what the 2nd week of Funside Balaton 2018 is all about.
We bring the American dream to Hungary, as our campers can feel like real movie stars for a week at our camp by Lake Balaton. Right after Sunday afternoon’s introductory Group activities, our traditional Camp Opening Ceremony will have community building games, this time with a special Hollywood inspired theme. Those who would like to follow the FIFA World Cup final live on Sunday will have the chance to do that on the big screen.
Sports will play a great part during our second week of the camp season, as kids will have the chance to choose from various different ones, and can also compete in our Foosball, or our Table tennis championship. Moreover, we will stage the Crazy Sports Day, with Archery Tag for our older campers (13 to 17), our Giant Adventure Course for the younger ones (8 to 12), as well as Water football and a special activity called Sweeper Game.
Despite these awesome activities, the week will be influenced the most by the glossy world of Hollywood. At the Battle of the Films, our campers can become real movie stars, or admired film directors. Furthermore, the finest achievements will be awarded on our special Oscar Gala on Friday.
The admiration of film will be escalated with our life-sized board game, the Game of Life, and with our Open-Air Cinema night, including a retro and an animated movie. Monday’s International Game Night will also feature cinema-related activities.
We will also invite a Central American atmosphere – the Caribbean, to be precise – to our afternoon-long Beach Party, with lemonades, beach mattresses, DJ and instant palm trees.
What’s more, we will present the newest game of Funside to our campers: a special team competition, the Activity Night, which is Funside’s own take on Charades.
After all, it’s not a question that the second week of Funside Balaton 2018 is going to be one of the greatest parties of the summer, to which we welcome everyone!
