Our 2018 camp season starts with an action-packed week – the Funside World Cup, a trip to the Aqua Park, the Funside Olympics and the Color Run are all featured!
Groups will need plenty of team spirit during our World Cup-themed opening week, coinciding with the final week of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, but many classic camp activities will also be held, like our own World Records’ Night or the popular trip to the Aqua Park!
At Funside Balaton, the first meeting with fellow campers is always a joyful event, as our experienced and always friendly team members begin to help our campers settle in right after the arrivals on Sunday. The afternoon is kicked off with Group activities as well as a visit to the beach, followed at our Camp Opening ceremony, where campers take part in a community-building game with several fun stations.
At the Funside World Cup groups compete against each other through many different fun activities while representing countries from the real World Cup. Groups can score points at the crowd favorite Scavenger Hunt on Monday, football fans can enter or own Funside World Cup, or challenge themselves at the crazy stations of the Funside Olympics on Thursday.
Another highlight of the week will surely be the usual trip to the Aqua Park, which takes place on Wednesday, or the return of one of last year’s favorite new activities, the Color Run, taking place on Tuesday. Our campers can also try their hands at actual Guinness records at the World Records Night, or just freely wander through the fun stations of Game Night, where they can also try our very own Carpool Karaoke. At Friday’s Reversed Day, kids can try an extra class – one that they did not pick for this week.
